Intensive Care
The top half of the unit is a self-contained life support system which provides a controlled environment designed to regulate temperature, humidity, and oxygen levels.
The bottom half of the unit contains heated floors. The heat that rises from the floor slowly and effectively warms the patient up to normal body temperatures without harming the patient.
The unit as a whole gives us the essential elements needed to care for the critically ill, injured, and debilitated patient.

Unit donated by Jim and Rhonda Saunier.
Dental
At Sulphur Animal Clinic it is our duty to inform clients of the importance of dental care. Dental disease can lead to severe health problems.
We do more than just clean the enamel. We also inspect each and every tooth for pockets, bone resorption, diseased teeth, painful teeth, abscesses, cancer and gingival problems.
We will suggest home care and medications as needed on an individual basis.

Pharmacy
We have most medications that we prescribe to your pet's in stock at our clinic. This saves you an additional trip to the local pharmacy.
Laser Surgery
Why laser surgery?
Less Pain:
The laser seals nerve endings as it "cuts." As a result, your pet will experience reduced trauma, less pain and be more comfortable post operatively.
Less Bleeding
The laser seals small blood vessels during surgery. This speeds many procedures, reducing the time your pet needs to be under anesthesia, which further reduces possible complications.
Less Swelling:
Laser energy does not crush, tear or bruise tissue because the only thing that touches your pet is an invisible beam of light.
What does this mean for my pet?
Reduced Risk of Infection:
As the laser removes diseased tissue, it seals the skin and reduces the amount of bacteria present.
Precision:
The laser can remove unhealthy tissue while minimizing adverse effects to healthy surrounding tissue.
Quick Return To Normal Activities:
Healing is rapid and there is less post-operative discomfort and a better course of healing.
Some of the procedures we can use the laser on are:
Boarding
We offer climate controlled boarding for the comfort and safety of our patients.
Science Diet Sensitive Stomach is fed to your pets for the duration of their stay with us to reduce the chance of stomach upset.
All the dogs have daily outside availability, maid service, and room service. We disinfect the accomodations twice daily.
Along with music, love, and human contact, each animal is provided with proper diet, exercise, and special attention by our caring kennel attendants.
All boarders must be current on all vaccinations at least 2 weeks prior to staying with us in order to protect them and others from contagious disease.
Now, relax and leave your fur-kids with us!
Surgery
Our surgery suite is equipped with cardiac and respiratory monitoring, as well as warm water blankets to help ensure the safety of the patients while under general anesthesia. We offer and recommend blood screening prior to any surgery.
Common veterinary surgeries include spaying and neutering, tumor removal, opthalmic surgery, orthopedic surgery, foreign body removal, wound repair, and Caesarean section. Postoperative recovery takes place in our Intensive Care Unit, where the surgery technician keeps a trained eye on your pet during the recovery process.
Laboratoryr Animal Clinic
Sulphur Animal Clinic has a comprehensive in-hospital laboratory. Having our own lab allows 90% of our bloodwork to be done in the clinic, saving time on diagnosis and the expense of an outside laboratory.
Radiology
Radiology is a method of examination to help us pinpoint your pet's particular problem. We are capable of taking quality radiographs of any size dog or cat .
Radiographs are extremely helpful for diagnosing and monitoring many medical and surgical problems.
