Veterinary Assistant

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting the doctor with patients

Surgical monitoring

Completing electronic computer medical records

Dispensing prescribed medications

Client education, and overall outstanding customer service.

Experience preferred, not required

Excellent communication skills

Patient and caring personality

Comfortable being around animals (dogs and cats)

Comfortable handling potential aggressive patients

Eager to learn from your peers

Ability to meet the physical demands of this position

Excellent customer service is a must

Answering multi phone line system

Scheduling appointments

Completing electronic medical records

Client education

Reconcile the cash drawer

Maintain a neat and tidy work area

Kennel Attendant

Our kennel attendants responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of our facility and the comfort of our boarders and patients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Feeding and walking patients and boarders

Medicating

Keeping the boarding facility immaculate at all times

Bathing

Trimming nails

Laundry

Assisting other team members when needed

 Must work well with other team members

Passionate for client and patient care.

 Ability to relate with customers in a friendly and professional manner

 Must be efficient in prioritizing

Must be able to handle potential fractious or aggressive animals

 Willingness to go the extra mile for our customers and patients.

 Employees must have good oral and written communication skills.

Passionate about animal care

Clean work environment is a must
